Women first served as Provincial Constables with the #OPP in 1974. 15 pioneering women joined Orientation Course #90 and 25 more followed later that year. It was a move that changed the face of policing and reflected greater cultural shifts in society.

Today, we celebrate women in policing. Their contributions and professional expertise in diverse areas continue to propel and inspire change as they continue to make their mark on the organization and policing as a whole. #NationalPoliceWomanDay
