Alok Pattanaik, a traditional farmer from Mayurbhanj shifted to mushroom cultivation after being trained by KVK under OMBADC funded CBSAE training. Now he earns Rs.80000/month from 70-80 beds.

The Directorate of Handicrafts has utilized OMBADC funds for training of artisans and their exposure visits to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. It has helped the artisans in improving their crafts and finally enhancing their economic status.
