This is a great idea!

Safe Inside - Clean The Air have launched a campaign asking everyone to make one short, simple phone call to your local DENTIST or OPTICIAN to ask if they'd be willing to wear a mask and whether they have HEPA air filters.

Think of it a bit like a virtual Flash Mob!

1. Prof. Jose-Luis Jimenez warned us in 2020 that nose inoculation is a poor way to infect and needs a dose 100,000 higher for the same symptoms as airborne transmission (for flu and smallpox) and that Covid was likely similar.

Our latest nature paper is out! We show that transplanting mitochondria into endothelial cells boosts their ability to form blood vessels in ischemic tissues, with mitophagy as the key mechanism. A potential game-changer for vascular cell therapies. nature.com/articles/s4158…

This may end up being a big deal:

Usually LLMs just predict the next token in a sequence, one at a time, but if you have them predict the next several tokens at once you get significantly better performance, faster, and with no added costs. The gains are better for bigger models

This data is insane

LC patients who had worse anxiety, depression etc (COOP chart scores 4 and 5) had higher blood levels of COVID RNAs and lower overall immunometabolism scores

64Bit Modeling All great questions. None are answered comprehensively in any literature I’ve reviewed.

We do know that platelets remain infected in HIV for some patients but not others. Those whose platelets remain infected have less response to therapy.

I suspect for COVID, the answer is…

Abatacept, an anti-inflammatory immunomodulating drug used to treat psoriatic arthritis, reduced mortality and showed better recovery in patients hospitalized with severe COVID-19. buff.ly/4bji545

A higher dose may be needed for the highest benefit however.

How thrilling to see this online after 8 years in the works!!!

We showed that bacteria
mimic our own“don’t eat me” signal with their P66 protein to hide in plain sight!!! This tricks our SIRPa protein to trigger the breaks on immune clearance!

TL;DR: They couldn't reliably infect participants with WT or Delta, even at high doses. It indirectly strengthens the idea that rapid & frequent vaccine updates (protein/mRNA) could lower infection risk significantly while we develop more durable vaccines. nature.com/articles/d4158…
