I’m pleased that plans for a new velodrome in the West Midlands have moved a step closer after a review concluded there’s a business case for a new multi cycling facility.

Catering for track, MTB, BMX and more, a facility would be transformative in tackling health inequalities.

See it's not hard. Just hang back when approaching junctions and roundabouts. People on bikes can generally navigate them as quickly as a car (unless it's a massive mway style one).
And being patient and considerate doesn't cost any time.

But Mark Harper thinks his ‘Plan for Drivers’ is more important than the pavement parking consultation which is now nearly four years old 😡

A real plan for drivers would be to give people genuine transport choices like walking, cycling + public transport.

Only then can we reduce car dependency, freeing up road space for those who really need to drive.

It could be like driving during school holidays. All year round.
