It’s time for cohort 4 of the ICS Inclusive Career Development Programme to graduate! Made up of colleagues from across the area in many different roles, they’ve spent the last six months gaining new skills and knowledge to help with their career progression #ICDPgrads2024

Next up this afternoon we have Nicky, an associate reasonable adjustment advisor at EEAST Ambulance Service, talking about inequalities in the workplace, specifically equality in the workplace for disabled staff in the NHS #ICDPgrads2024

Now for a Q&A session with the group about the programme and their career aspirations, including what is their biggest takeaway from the whole experience. Olubukola, a theatre data officer at East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust, says it has taught her to come out of her shell – great to hear!

We’ve also heard from Nicky at EEAST Ambulance Service, describing how the programme has made her more enthusiastic about people with disabilities and EDI as a whole. “It’s really enhanced my knowledge listening to others on the course.” #ICDPgrads2024
