Very well attended Staff for Palestine meeting at University of Sydney tonight on why the Universities Australia antisemitism definition and other standalone definitions should be rejected. A motion to this effect was passed overwhelmingly.

Do oppressed people have the right to imagine an alternative to the state that is oppressing them? The UA definition of antisemitism says no. It’s a ludicrous position for a university to adopt, and more and more colleagues can see that.
