Three quarters of the way through our project to ensure every first year students knows how to spot the signs of overdose and respond appropriately. Busting stigma and judgment as we go 💪🏽

As National Advisor on Gambling Harms I am calling for cross party support of pre election publication by Department for Culture, Media and Sport We need the implementation of the levy to allow for a safe delivery of national treatment for gambling disorder. Lives are at risk and we can not delay. It is not safe.

Great event for students and learners to ask questions of the experts. If you're able to visit the concourse I'm sure they will answer all your questions BTHFT Palliative Care Team there was anxiety from our learners at a recent induction.

As it's marking season please remember to avoid marking students down for making silly mistakes. Instead, focus on their broad & detailed understanding & highlight the need to focus on attention to detail. Basically, try to be a human when you mark, not a damn nerd-robot-pedant😎

A study on what many of us already know: over 75% of internal service work in academia is done by women. “We were surprised by how brazenly the male researchers described their priorities, for example that they actively didn’t respond to emails”

Appalled that this happened to you, Robyn. I’m so sorry.

Lesson for all healthcare workers:

If there is the smallest chance a patient or relative could recognise themselves from your post, don’t do it. End of.

Posting straight after event or, worse, live posting, hugely risky.

Because there is so much evidence that classifying a drug as Class A prevents people from using or selling 🙄….

How about instead we follow the actual evidence base and look at drug use through a health, rather than criminal justice, lens?

I too have been fortunate to see an OPC at work in Moss Park, Toronto.

A space of safety, dignity and respect, championing healthcare inclusion. Shame on the person trying to derail this important piece of the harm reduction jigsaw
