It seems that there is a bug in iOS 17.4 Beta, preventing Spatialify from getting correct frames when capturing spatial photos. I have submitted feedback FB13588521 and TSI to Apple. If you wish to continue using the spatial capture feature, please avoid upgrading to iOS 17.4Beta

Spatialify v1.3 has been released on the App Store, introducing new Spatial Video Recording feature! It supports recording in up to 4K 30fps HDR, 1080p 60fps HDR, and uncropped 4:3 formats. Additionally, HDR and wide color gamut video playback and export are supported as well.

Due to an unexpected configuration error, HDR videos captured by the previous version of Spatialify will look slightly oversaturated. Version 1.3.1 has fixed this issue and has been released on the App Store.

This issue has been fixed in 1.3.2, AirDrop no longer triggers transcoding for new captures. It turns out that the os transcodes when trying to remove the location data in the mp4 file, but if the file is in mov format, no transcoding is needed. The new version uses .mov instead.

Thanks very much to Nima Zeighami for sending me a Leia Lume Pad 2. It's my first time experiencing such exceptional glasses-free 3D display, and the 2D to 3D conversion is way better than my expectations. Now, I can view my spatial photos and videos without wearing glasses.😄

Apple updated the metadata requirements for spatial photos in visionOS 2. Photos taken with earlier versions of Spatialify may not be recognized as "spatial" or render correctly. To address, Spatialify v1.3.5 added a tool that can batch-fix affected photos in the photo library.

On iOS 18, Spatialify's spatial camera can be launched without unlocking the device, whether through camera control, the action button, or the button at the bottom of the lock screen, allowing you to start capturing instantly.
