#Xenakis100 In 1989 we performed ‘Oresteia’ at QEH. Mr X was at the rehearsal. Mr Mercer and Mr Clark had rehearsed a tricky 2-tenor passage, putting our all into it. Mr X interrupted - “You’re supposed to be old men: squeakier sound!”. 33 years on, time for another shot?

Good news, folks! “The Hyperion label will be released for streaming in stages, with 200 albums now available [July 2023] followed by further fortnightly themed tranches starting on September 15, until by spring next year all 2000 albums in the catalogue will be released.”
