This is pretty cool.
Slow motion bee landing on an alium at Nuffield Place this afternoon 🐝⭐️❤️
Cared for Nuffield Place is this tiny copy of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
What festive reading are you enjoying?
It looks like Jack Frost has visited Nuffield Place, bathing the garden in his icy magic on the sixteenth day of our advent calendar.

I’m desperate to visit Nuffield Place home of Lord Nuffield, philanthropist & creator of the Morris motor car #HouseHistoryHour
Lord Nuffield was the founder of Morris Motors, and lived at Nuffield Place. So today we’ve brought Podders’s Morris Minor to Nuffield Place - because Nuffield really disliked the Morris Minor.
For Monday morning, a #mindfulminute of springtime beech woodland in the @ChilternsAONB, captured yesterday close to Nuffield Place South Oxfordshire DC. Have a good week. @VisitChilterns Chiltern Society Chiltern Woods Southern Oxfordshire National Trust South East
I'm fond of English marigolds, and Nuffield Place had a mini-meadow of them to greet the arriving visitor. I like their cheerfulness and also their subtle touches, as when the petals are tipped with bronze.
The unpretentious spirit of Lord Nuffield is alive & well still here.
Some of the most characterful places National Trust are the smallest. They're packed full of interesting objects and stories. I love this ceramic Nuffield Place picturing Lord Nuffield and his pipe.
Trip to Nuffield Place yesterday. Had a lively guided tour of the house, before venturing outside to admire this butterfly on some lilac asters (left) and the Oxford ox (stepping out by the rockery, right).
Spring flowers at Nuffield Place; absolutely charming & as always a lovely garden to visit for some quiet moments of simple beauty.
I felt rather emotional when I stepped back into the gardens of Nuffield Place after a long absence.
It was so good to be back though. The gardens had become a little wild, but then they had been quite overgrown when I first saw them, & many gardeners were hard at work today!
Thanks to Liz Dobson & my church-visiting colleagues, I have a much better eye for 'rainwater goods' - whether looking at a church, or Nuffield Place.
Personally, I think I like the 'strong' shade of green/teal/acquamarine! It strikes a slightly daring note. Ian Young
For today's #CURATORBATTLE #TremendousTransport - here's Lady Nuffield’s Wolseley Eight Nuffield Place - the only road-worthy historic car in the NT's collections. The couple used it on a nearly daily basis & was considered to be a cheaper car to buy. nationaltrust.org.uk/nuffield-place…
A very pleasant visit to one of my local National Trust properties today - Nuffield Place , the understated former home of William Morris, 1st Viscount Nuffield, the motor manufacturer and philanthropist. Southern Oxfordshire @ChilternsAONB @VisitChilterns National Trust South East Nuffield Trust

The National Trust gardeners/volunteers have worked miracles with the once sadly neglected gardens Nuffield Place. They have grown inch by inch from a weed-strewn wreck to an absolute delight.
The rock garden restored (left) & an avenue of pink blossomed cherry trees (right).
The #OnlineArtExchange is on trees so we thought we'd cheekily share this artwork from our collection! It's Landscape by Nora Rickards (active c.1960–1999). It's been debated if it's a tree near Nuffield Place or the Poem Tree Earth Trust Wittenham Clumps. Ideas? Art UK
I do like the little toolshed at Nuffield Place. #LookUpForLent
Mossy tiles, in a rippling pattern, can never be wrong aesthetically (left); while these delicate allium seedheads (I think, right) add an artful, fragile touch to the interior.
