The National Information Platform for Food & Nutrition undertook dissemination of research findings and policy recommendations from eight nutrition policy research papers and county nutrition index in Nandi, Garissa, Bomet and Uasin Gishu County. The workshop was attended by Senior County Officers.

The National Information Platform for Food & Nutrition study examined the impact of cash transfers on key nutrition related outcomes. The findings reveal that beneficiary households receiving cash transfers exhibit a 10.6 % lower expenditure on food and consume 0.5 fewer food groups. Read more nipfn.kippra.or.ke/download/effec…

The National Information Platform for Food & Nutrition study reveals that having sufficient drinking water at the household level significantly reduces child stunting. Adequacy of water of 20-49 L per person per day as opposed to below 20L lowers the probability of stunting by 6.3% points. nipfn.kippra.or.ke/download/effec…
