A number of hospitals are experiencing very high levels of activity this week. Attending the ED with a minor injury will result in longer waiting times, as urgent and emergency cases are prioritised. Please attend the GP, pharmacy or injury unit if you can.

For many incidents, a Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV) may also be dispatched, along with ambulance crews. These vehicles can be crewed by Paramedics, Advanced Paramedics & Officers. Their role can vary from providing Advanced Life Support to providing on scene incident management.
