UKMF & MIFF Founder / CEO Sajid Varda was honoured to attend a special reception hosted by the King and Queen at Buckingham Palace. Sajid was granted a private audience with King Charles, who expressed keen interest in the mission to champion Muslim creative talent and stories.

We were honoured to screen Mohammed Almughanni's 'An Orange from Jaffa' at #ASFF2024, as part of Muslim International Film Festival’s Guest Programme. Now, the film, which follows a young Palestinian looking for a taxi to take him through an Israeli checkpoint, has been shortlisted for an #Oscar.
