#OTD 64 years ago, Claude Raymond (St. Jean, Que.) makes his MLB debut with the Chicago White Sox. He pitches two innings in relief in the White Sox 10-8 loss to the Kansas City A's at Comiskey Park. He records his first MLB K when he strikes out Bob Grim in the fifth.

Trivia item. The #expos had at least three left-handed pitchers born in Louisville, Kentucky. I know the names. Does anyone else? I will randomly pick a winner to receive a copy of my book Never Forgotten. * Repost this and you must follow me.

If not for Willie Mays asking Giants manager Alvin Dark to be taken out of the game, the 3 Alou brothers never would’ve made history when all 3 played the outfield at the same time together. It was one of the great stories Willie told me when I interviewed him for the book. ⚾️
