Motherfoclóir: The Legacy To be fair I’ve been listening to Irish radio via Alexa and it’s pretty good at announcing Irish names when it says the show name. It didn’t murder Bláthnaid earlier.

"Irish Food History: A Companion" has just been published to very enthusiastic reviews! One of its editors, Máirtín Mac Con Iomaire, was a guest on the Motherfoclóir: The Legacy podcast some years ago and had some very interesting things to say about our food. open.spotify.com/episode/1Xn4cy…

A Quiet Philodox Not a silly question! If it's going to be used in an Irish sentence it needs to be spelled in a format that allows Irish grammatical forms. The formula would be unchanged though (just like how Sodium Chloride is Cloruro di Sodio in Italian but they'd still use the symbol NaCl).
