Excellent Peak District National Park visit with DefraNature and Moors for the Future staff and estate talking #peatland #restoration , evidence, monitoring and research needs. Long-term is key and lots of agreements. The rest is 'what was said on the bog stays on the bog'. Fab day but #midges !

I was up before dawn to join Peak District Moorland Group for a Moorland Morning up Chunal Moor. The moors are teeming with wildlife. We got to see golden plovers, skylarks, curlew, lapwing, meadow pipits, ring ouzel, wheatear, voles, rabbits, mountain hares and many many more!
