The beauty of our National Monuments is under attack. Carrizo Plain National Monument in San Luis Obispo protects the sacred lands of the Chumash & Yokut peoples. Designated in 2001 & managed by Bureau of Land Management - National, it’s a prime example of what’s at risk. We must protect these spaces!

The Trump Administration is considering removing federal protections and shrinking six of our National Monuments to pursue energy development. Doing so would impact the public’s access to these precious outdoor spaces and risk vulnerable wildlife habitats and cultural resources.
