@BristolCladding Robert Jenrick Apparently fixing anything not within the cladding system itself is an “opt-in” now says Stephen Greenhalgh. Perhaps Stephen Greenhalgh can write to your freeholder and managing agent supporting leaseholders’ opt out where you are? Same to your EWS1 assessor and mortgage lender.
Feeble, robotic and read speech from Stephen Greenhalgh (Almost as though he has no confidence in the govt line on this)
Jennie Smith was prohibited from subletting her #SharedOwnership home. If you're a shared owner, you have been given permission to sublet, & you'd be happy to be featured in the 'My SO Home' series, please get in touch via [email protected] sharedownershipresources.org/my_so_home/my-…
I know when we spoke Brendan Clarke-Smith you said plans were afoot to ensure flat owners like me dont pay. You also voted against this amendment before. My bill is £45k. I don’t have it. How will you vote on a Monday? #EndOurFireSafetyScandal UK Cladding Action Group

HAs could do more to support shared owners. Arguing they shouldn't generate gains from subletting #SharedOwnership is misplaced when shared owners face crippling bills for waking watch, insurance & fire safety remediation. The G15 National Housing Federation Jamie Ratcliff bit.ly/34ks9cE
Thank you Sarah Corker BBC News (UK) for speaking to Stephen Squires & highlighting the issue of our freeholder Long Harbour not signing our funding agreements which is causing further delays to our homes being made safe #EndOurCladdingScandal Stephen Greenhalgh Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Gov Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service

Are Charity Commission concerned about an emerging gap between public perception of HAs as charitable & actions that aren't in shared owners' best interests? Risk of breach of fiduciary duties? Does exempt status relieve HAs from such duties to shared owners? Any reputational risk?
