- 15m/visit back-to-back is simply not sustainable unless all you see is URIs, which is no one.

- Schedules should have breathing room—e.g. flex time that can be filled with non-time-sensitive work and accommodate overflow and emergencies.

One of the reasons why we run behind is the asinine policies of insurers. Did you know that when I have to do a prior authorization review for a surgery with a 'peer,' I get two time slots I can choose from for the call and if I can't make it work, your surgery gets denied?
