I read "You are chosen to heal generational trauma" that I think is intended as inspirational but I felt exhausted & resentful • I didn't have a choice which is why much of my trauma originated • I would chose to NOT be traumatized • I want to be chosen for/as myself, period.

The feeling of failure or guilt can be very haunting, but instead of trying to fight this feeling, try to accept or tolerate this feeling. It's the first step in coming to terms with the situation, from there you can challenge your thoughts or work to forgiveness💜
