Today we did a write the room with ‘sh’ and ‘ch’ words. We needed to find a flower, then decide which diagraph it needed. When we finished all the words, we chose 3-5 words and made sentences with them! #Belpark #WeAreCBE

We wrote sentences using ‘the’ words today! Beforehand we reviewed parts of sentences, and making sure we use upper case letters at the start of a sentence, finger spaces, and punctuation. #Belpark #WeAreCBE

We did the obstacle course in gym today!

Today during library we listened to the story “I Promise!” It helped us with our kindness book we wrote in on how we can be kind to ourselves, the community, our family, and our friends later in the day for Pink Shirt Day! #Belpark #WeAreCBE #pinkshirtday2023

Today we in math we did a measuring write the room! We turned into ants, and had a line of ant friends join us to find all the picnic foods. We used a non-standard measurement tool with the appropriate rules and unit. #Belpark #WeAreCBE

Today we learned about the commutative property in addition, and connected it to our friends of 10. We practiced addition strategies like using ten frames and number lines within 10 once we glued things into our math journals! #Belpark #WeAreCBE

Who do we have here? Students created a cartoon styled portrait. They learned different colouring techniques, and how to make a cartoon face. They then used autumn leaves we collected outside to make their hair! We talked about the changing seasons as well. #BelPark Bel-Park School CBE
