✍️Mocking and Using CRUD APIs with Mirage JS & #ReactQuery Tanner Linsley + Sam Selikoff have advanced the state of the art for mocking and interacting with APIs in React apps. I think they pair very well for rapidly creating & consuming CRUD frontends! swyx.io/writing/react-…

🚀 63 commits, 3 contributors and 132 comments later, TypeScript types just landed in Mirage JS! Thanks so much to Zoltan for spearheading, and James C. Davis (he/him), Chris Krycho, Dan Freeman + others for pushing it across the finish line. Look out for a release very soon 👍

Share links are live on the Mirage JS REPL! Pretty awesome to be able to ship this with zero backend code 🥰 Try it out for yourself by clicking Share in the toolbar: miragejs.com/repl/v1/130

Used Mirage JS to build out a fully functioning front-end, styled with Tailwind UI. Once the front-end was perfected, moved to working on the backend. Finding this technology stack super fast and pleasant to work with. 👌

This is nuts... Rocky Neurock has been working on Mirage GraphQL and this is all you have to do to get all the conventional types, queries and mutations in your schema file mocked out in Mirage JS. Early release but I cannot wait to try this thing out! miragejs.com/docs/advanced/…

We systematically tested a handful of scenarios in Mirage JS to check—in detail—how each of its serializer works. Here are all our findings: frontside.com/blog/2020-08-3… #javascript #simulation

Recently started github.com/miragejs/examp… so if you've had trouble getting Mirage set up in the past see if your stack is there! And would love to see more examples added, so if you have one and find time for a PR I know others would benefit ❤️

C# is a different planet to me, but I believe in the testing principles here pretty strongly (after doing the opposite for years and always reaping pain later 😅) Without ever even using the word API, it's also a great argument for Mirage JS in UI tests! tyrrrz.me/blog/fakes-ove…

If you're starting a new project and you aim to make it full stack, it's hard to decide whether to start on FE or at BE. Mirage JS is a great tool to get you started on your FE while you shape your BE with multiple iterations, at low cost. css-tricks.com/dont-wait-mock…
