The next @bc_code_blue is going to be on waiting lists and how we can better look after patients in BC. We are looking for patients who’ve been on a waiting list and how it has impacted them. Someone willing to tell their story publicly. Reach out to me if you want to share.

This is an important story to watch. I see patients on waiting lists being irreversibly harmed. Some are dying. More and more are having to choose private care often at costs few can afford. I took last week off with family. In that week my waiting list grew by about 70

With hospitals at 120% capacity and 20% of our patients stuck in them waiting for LTC but we don’t have home care or LTC space it seems like something got missed at the projections and planning stage. LTC is a critical issue. Watch and please give feedback of your own
