We welcome last week's defence agreement with Australia and today's ten-year plan for Barrow to support AUKUS.

The AUKUS partnership between the UK, US, and Australia is our most important strategic alliance beyond NATO.

It has our fullest Labour support.

It's a disgrace that rail companies are proposing the closure of ticket offices. Visually impared and disabled travellers, among others, rely on staff to be able to travel. This proposal unfairly removes access to public transport for thousands of people and should be opposed.

Labour believes in breaking down the barriers to opportunity, for each of us and for all of us.
