Happy #EarthDay . We only get this one, so, let’s wrap our arms around it with as much love, respect, and beauty it has shown us. 📸 📍 Gieranger Fjord, Norway 🇳🇴

As I got my shot I looked at my son and well, I cried. When the pandemic started I was a pregnant essential worker. Since Oct. I have been home keeping him safe. We’ve been on this journey together, side by side, so it was fitting he was my support person today. #StickItToCOVID

June is #NationalIndigenousHistoryMonth. This year is dedicated to the missing children, families left behind and survivors of residential schools. You are welcome to stop by our memorial & ask for a ribbon to tie in memory of children taken from their families & never returned.

A massive shout-out to my former colleagues Courtney De Caire and Michelle Idzenga for taking time today to speak with the Post Graduate Public Relations students from Niagara College. Proud of how far both of you have come in your careers.

May 5 is Red Dress Day. Inspired by Métis artist Jaime Black’s REDress project installation, displaying empty red dresses represents the missing and murdered Indigenous women. Niagara Region joins the movement and shows our support by hanging red dresses outside of Headquarters.
