Tim Ricketts Tim we were told over, and over, that we were the whining loud minority in our twitter/reddit echo chambers. and then the BMA ballot returns over 95% to strike. the tweets are driven by majority opinion in our generation. the top of these organisations has to change.

This post in Reddit about UK PAs is brilliant. reddit.com/r/doctorsUK/co… Dr Sandeep Bansal platinumpizza™ Mamas A. Mamas PPP - Putting Patients First

There is no agenda to replace doctors with physician associates. This is just one hospital. This is just one 6 month period. Credit u/sildenafil_prn r/DoctorsUK.

An artistic masterpiece courtesy of u/saxstoic (r/DoctorsUK). Happy Sunday everyone!

Some refreshing news coming out of East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. (H/T r/DoctorsUK) It is not for JDs to pick up the slack (alongside all their other responsibilities) to teach PAs. This would be inappropriate anyway as doctors have not studied the medical model.

Credit to u/DonutOfTruthForAll r/DoctorsUK. Even the GMC themselves can’t separate PAs from “registered medical professionals” but apparently the general public can? Explain yourselves GMC. Anaesthetists United.

Here’s the full Reddit post regarding Derriford Hospital PAs. This is happening in departments across the U.K. Partha S Kar 🇮🇳🇬🇧🏏🎥 does prof Leng know about this ? Care Quality Commission Layla Moran 🔶🕊️ Wes Streeting GMC reddit.com/r/doctorsUK/co…

Very glad to hear Wes Streeting is sympathetic to our concerns about career progression However; sympathy won’t resolve placeholders or bottlenecks - it meaningless to those facing unemployment. What we need is action! reddit.com/r/doctorsUK/s/…
