Totally thrilled and humbled to have won the Maria Moors Cabot Prize for journalism. It's been a rocky road of 21 years, 1000+ stories, three books, stress, adrenaline, and covering too much bloodshed, tears, beauty and heroism. This recognition means a million dollars to me.

The #DocEmmys Award for Outstanding Interactive Media goes to Reeducated (The New Yorker).
