Going to have to say the @ChilternsAONB. The landscape contains many wonderful historic places, and helps to conserve their setting, but is also a cultural heritage asset in itself.

This kind of research is so important in the @ChilternsAONB where the #archaeology is as much a part of the #landscape as our iconic #beechwoods .

That didn’t take long: only 24 days since Royal Assent for the Levelling-up and Regeneration Act and its many planning reforms, and there’s already more talk of ‘speeding up the planning system’ (bbc.in/3MOPnhM).

A recent planning appeal decision for up to 150 dwellings on the northern edge of Chinnor has been refused by the planning inspector who presided over a recent planning inquiry.
