When Emma felt like she couldn’t go on, she called us. She says that call helped give her the strength to get better. Four years on, she’s in a much better place and is running her first ever marathon for us 👏

A text to a friend, a smile, that silently shared 'are you ok?' to someone who looks upset. Those small things can make a BIG difference.

When you are feeling overwhelemed and stressed, leaning on your support network and finding company is important.

Think about who you can rely on to support you during stressful times, and remember that this doesn't always have to be your immediate friends and family.

Reading this in the Guardian's archive about the relics of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux. She was my Nan's favourite saint.

I must admit, I have found aspects of her biography quite disturbing.

News klaxon: Doing chaplaincy and youthwork is also serving the Church. A parish church is not the entire Church and serving in one not the only way to serve God and the Church.

So great. Wish I could find a church again where this is all possible plus I can worship and serve all in the same place too.
