I have a few books to tell you about. But I need to get my 2000 words done first.

For reasons I don’t understand, my 7yo sometimes offers to carry all her older brother’s things to school. She calls it ‘being a teenage mutant ninja turtle’. She is wearing her coat and backpack with his coat and backpack on top, and also has his football boots and guitar.

No one does it quite like Lauren North. This is, of course, another banger! #Clickbait

I only just found out that it’s #NationalSiblingsDay but I did see my sister this morning. It was difficult, like it always is. I long to just call round to her house rather than visiting her in a care home. I managed an hour, and left feeling heavy.

We all know this kind of thing can happen, but when it actually does, and to the nicest person and most incredible writer? Joy.
