The Disability Pride and Power Parade took place in Dublin today. The rally celebrates grassroots movements and the work being done on the ground by members of the disabled community while highlighting the importance of non-disabled allies. Ellen Leonard reports.

As we mark Disability Pride today I’m also thinking of this iconic pic by Marc Steadman of Martin Naughton, Leigh Gath, and Joe T Mooney from 2012 on their way into to meet the Taoiseach and get the cuts reversed and end the protest. All 3 sadly gone.
