Memo From The Credit Where Credit Is Due Department:
Good to see Messrs. Fife and Chase finally on to the dreadful Modi’s real “targeting” of citizens on North American soil.
Remember when Conservatives were all over the Prime Minister’s back about this?

Today, 48 planes are scheduled to fly between Montreal and New York City. With proper high-speed rail and pre-clearance protocols, this journey could take less than 3 hours by train. Currently, it takes 11 hours by train. We deserve better.

As if this is recent.
Has anyone written about what was found in the walls of the old Nortel buildings on Baseline and on Moodie? I wrote about this in the 1990s: the limitless apatite for tech, the dubious grad students. So did other journalists.

Jesse Brown Justin Trudeau Why the fuck would he sit down with the person who destroyed the most impactful charity that helped 1000s of kids across Canada, who is now embroiled in a lawsuit that will see him lose his shirt. Judging by this grovelling post, you know it.

Mark Bourrie The CBC radio reports this morning, repeated hourly, were more egregious and didn’t make any mention of the countervailing evidence. Not a high mark for CBC journalism.

Then they’re idiots. By-elections are about as meaningful in predicting future election results as chicken entrails.

In which a CBC reporter accepts causation and seems blissfully unaware of the possibility of correlation.

Related but not mentioned: the Washington Post published the name of the Indian government official who carried out the murder of an American citizen in the United States and the murder of a Canadian in Canada because their politics and religion differed from the Indian PM’s

Does anyone know where the archives of the Montreal police are kept? Do old files go to the province or the city? Or do they keep them?

Are all CBC local morning and afternoon drive shows actually required to be trite, trivial and banal? Or is it just Ottawa’s?

I’ll accept corporate Canada’s (and its media minions’) bitching about the federal subsidy for the Alliston electric car plant when Canadian capitalists begin to invest in this country’s manufacturing infrastructure. (I also noticed that all gripes are about Trudeau, not Ford).

Waiting to hear Alberta’s big “thank you” to the Trudeau government for completing the Trans-Mountain Pipeline. Might take a while.

Pierre Poilievre helped create a moral panic against people who are homeless who use substances. Now he applauds their criminalization.

Pierre Poilievre is a denier of the facts:
1) Unregulated illicit drugs are killing Canadians
2) Deaths unabated under the “recovery-oriented”…
