Awaiting the day people will attend to domestically marginalized communities with the same fervor they do for internationally marginalized communities…

We're submitting a manuscript- here's the preprint. Led by undergrad, Tara Saleh, this work represents her persistence through my maternity leave, a pandemic and lots of outsider doubts. I'm so proud of her and our collabosister in science, Dr. Melanie McReynolds, who made it make sense.

1. I can probably say a lot about this one. Recorded in the winter at Reaction Studios on Stafford street. Produced by MPW. We had a lot of guests on Whale Music, but this was just us. Front loaded with all of those Tielli vocals. I wrote Saskatchewan in Italy, and N Wish on tour

In moral support of those that will see the total eclipse in the US (but I won’t in Seattle) I am planning a two hour nap in my office instead and will call it ‘eclipse time’

8 years ago I made this wedding cake to celebrate our Quebec/Philly-3+year-long-distance-impossible relationship that somehow turned into a Seattle wedding and lovely life.

Same same! I was told in a grad school interview that I had the lowest GPA of anyone they had ever agreed to interview. You are not your GPA. That grad school awarded me a PhD and several graduate student honors along the way.

The 🔥in this piece is for Baltimore but it gave me a better way to have this conversation in every instance where ones existence and the right to love and grieve is measured on a racial scale.
