It's wild to hear about the cuts that are happening across all media, but specifically today at Business Insider. BI's refocus on business might make sense from a brand perspective, but news, lifestyle and culture coverage was frequently the most read coverage across the site.

Some of the most talented and hardworking people I've ever met were laid off at Business Insider today. I wish this industry valued their work. It just does not make any sense to me.
