To support emergency crews working tirelessly at the Amazon warehouse devastated by tornadoes in Edwardsville, WCK partner Old Herald prepared pulled pork sandwiches, pub chips & salad—responders told us it was the first hot meal they’d had in the cold temperatures since Friday.

Earlier I shared the video of Dario Meira in Brazil where flooding destroyed many homes… Now here is the World Central Kitchen team in action tonight with mobile meal deliveries! We served 740 hot meals & we also setup 4 stationary food pickup locations in the community! #ChefsForBrazil

The World Central Kitchen NYC team is still going strong, supporting over a dozen vaccination sites from East Harlem to Staten Island. The Mobile Vax Team in Tappen Park enjoyed hot lentil soup & baja blackened chicken wraps from Call It A Wrap—a major morale boost on this 29 degree day!

This is Shatabdi & her cat Crimsee! 🐈 They overnighted in a bunker in Ukraine, then walked 60 kilometers & waited 12 hours in line at the border with no food before meeting the World Central Kitchen team. She was having trouble walking & found the wheelchair on the way. #ChefsForUkraine 🇺🇦

As snow fell in Medyka today, the WCK team served 4,000 hot meals over 18 hours. Tonight we are setting up a tent and tomorrow will begin providing meals 24 hours a day as families continue to cross the border at all hours of the night in search of safety. #ChefsForUkraine
