Just wondering what can be done about the burgeoning horror of @microsoft software. Teams is a mess. Authenticator is like a bad piece of coding homework. The architecture of Microsoftworld is a car crash. Yet we are all stuck with it...who will repay me for the hours...?

People in this country are losing homes and livelihoods NOW, while the government continues to cave in to the oil and gas industry.

The UK public needs meaningful action on climate change, not tax breaks for big polluters.

It is high time we get off fossil fuels.

Big Tech's 'rent extraction' isn't new, but with AI, the stakes are higher. In The Conversation, UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose's Tim O'Reilly, Ilan Strauss, Rufus and I call for economic recalibration to align AI with public interest, not just private profits ⬇️ theconversation.com/to-understand-…

I’m increasingly stressed that people I consider intelligent and aware of social/environmental issues are still flying for sunny holidays abroad as a given.

NEW: March was the tenth month in a row to break global temperature records.

While the world is heating up, political leaders are adding fuel to the fire by doubling down on new oil and gas.

We won't let them burn our future. We must and all new fields.

A warmer atmosphere can hold more moisture, leading to more intense rainfall. I wonder if the editors at the The Telegraph can spot the link between this story and its daft campaign against net zero policies to tackle climate change?

This is an astonishing waste of time and resources when the daily operation of the criminal justice system is in chaos.

Assaulting shop workers is already an offence. It is already punishable by up to 6 months’ imprisonment.

Indulgent, posturing nonsense.

Margaret Heffernan Financial Times I agree wholeheartedly with your article, my son has gone through the same terrible process in last couple of years. I was an HR Director for many years and I cannot see how employers find any employees - especially as job seekers are now using Ai. Back to basics for all.

For young people, the job search has never been so miserable

Margaret Heffernan laments the rise of automated job application processes which she says leave feeling humiliated and alienated from the world of work before they’ve even started.

BIG WIN for climate campaigners: The European court of human rights has ruled that weak government climate policies violate fundamental human rights.

Governments can no longer get away with failing their citizens on climate action. If they do, we'll stop them in the courts ✊
