Waterloo Bridge is open to traffic with protesters on the pavement.

A group of protesters briefly disrupted traffic after leaving Jubilee Gardens.

Conditions were quickly imposed and the road was clear within 13 minutes.

Officers remain on the bridge.

Drink spiking and predatory behaviour are serious offences.

Our officers have been delivering Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement training to venues in the West End to empower staff so they know what to do if they see something suspicious or if a drink has been spiked.

We made 5 arrests - for driving offences and 1 failure to appear for drugs offences.

Police have now left #PeckhamRoad #Southwark #SE15 following the incident earlier.

A total of 45 people have been arrested and taken into police custody for offences including obstruction of the highway, obstructing police and assault on police.
