Just enjoyed one of my favorite talks at Heart Rhythm Society⁩ #HRS2024 from ⁦Sumeet Chugh⁩. Loved his talk. Besides the #artificial #intelligence #ECG developed ⁦Mayo Clinic CV⁩ for low EF, #HCM , & #LQTS , Sumeet & his team have developed an AI-ECG-SCD predictor tool.

Peter Schwartz & I are very pleased with this STRONG work from the dynamic duo of Raquel Neves & Lia Crotti here Heart Rhythm Society #HRS2024 . Although latest European Society of Cardiology guidelines would have supported installing an ICD, Peter & I did not use on (or need one!) the MAJORITY of the time!

Congrats Raquel Neves - great job showcasing Mayo Clinic CV single center experience w/ ICDs for our patients w/ #LQTS and #CPVT . Of the 400+ patients w/ an ICD, I inherited the device in 60%! In the absence of sudden cardiac arrest, repeat after me - most do NOT need an ICD!

So proud of Sahej Bains. She has made us Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences look good!
