A new portrait of Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada, was officially unveiled at Province House today by the Honourable Arthur J. LeBlanc, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, and Nolan Young, Deputy Speaker of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly.

The LtGov was delighted to attend the Education Week Proclamation & Award Ceremony, held at the Halifax Central Library on April 16. This year's celebration focused on connections within the community and awards recognized individuals who empower the larger school community.

Her Honour Mrs. Patsy LeBlanc hosted a reception for the Halifax Ladies' Musical Club and the Women for Music Society at Government House. Her Honour serves as the Patron for both organizations.
