It was really nice to hear about other neurodiverse ecologists! Hopefully employers are starting to learn how to become more neuroinclusive.

Please stop using OCD as a replacement for being neat and tidy.

I just saw it as the main gag of a marketing strategy for a program that organises games.

Here an article on why it’s harmful and why it misinforms about this often debilitating illness.

We need to get rid of the idea that someone has to be suicidal in order to get help. You shouldn’t have to feel the lowest of the low, feel like life is not worth living in order to get help. Help should be given BEFORE that point is reached.

What's something you wish the public understood about conservation, ecology and/or wildlife?

Or what is something you see the general public get wrong about them?

Here's mine- sometimes lethal control of a species is needed to fund conservation or protect an ecosystem.

This event sounds great and well needed! 🙏

However, as an Autistic person this event would be way more accessible to me if there was some sort of draft timetable or event plan rather than a vague description of ‘workshop and guest speakers’ so I have an idea of what to expect.
