It's absolutely wild and completely disgusting that days before the election we got literal audio of Jeffrey Epstein saying him and Trump were best friends for a decade and corporate media completely buried it. In so many ways they've abdicated their responsibility to the public.

Not knowing *anything else* if you see the stock of a private prison corporation go up like this, you know something deeply fucked has gone down. Prisons should not be profitable. That aligns all incentives toward mass incarceration.
