Flashback to last week where we managed to build our own electricity generators! ⚡️

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿‘Cofiwch Tryweryn!’🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Year 4 have been learning all about the flooding of Capel Celyn village in the Tryweryn Valley. They have enjoyed discussing whether they agree or disagree with the building of the reservoir on the land!

Y4 are thoroughly enjoying learning about the ‘Great Fire of London’. They have been looking at how the event was captured in the diary of Samuel Pepys!

Year 4 showed great dribbling and jab tackle skills today. Thanks Hoci Cymru for the ideas. Whitchurch Hockey

Blwyddyn 4 have enjoyed making their own cards to celebrate ‘Dydd Santes Dwynwen’. Da iawn pawb🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Year 4 worked creatively in small groups whilst using a variety of resources, to plan the journey of the mysterious ‘Empty Boots’ that were found in the forest!

Year 4 have enjoyed finding out all about ‘National Parks’ as part of their Expedition ‘The Great Outdoors’.

Year 4 had an action packed morning in the outdoor classroom! They enjoyed pond dipping with Ms Davies and found many creatures!! They looked at a variety of animal tracks and tried to guess which animals belonged to them! Llanishen Fach Llanishen Fach

What a busy few weeks we have had in Year 4! We thoroughly enjoyed sharing our learning about ‘National Parks’ in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 with Year 2 pupils as we showed them our foldable National Park books!

Year 4 had a wonderful time den building and participating in team building games. They finished it off with hot chocolate and s’mores around the campfire with an amazing singalong with Mr Gunning and his choir! 🎵 🎶

Year 4 had a lovely time participating with daniel during their visit. Lots of excellent hand eye coordination by all. Da iawn .
