Last month I tore my ACL during a high school game. Today I had surgery. I want to thank my team at KU Medical Center for helping me! While I’m upset, this is the perfect time to get strong not only physically, but mentally. I’m excited to be the best teammate I can be for right now!!

Tearing my ACL has caused some of the hardest months of my life, but also the most transformative. I’ve recently been cleared to fully hit and I’m not starting off far from where I left off. Here is some front toss and even my 77 mph exit velo. Everyday is another day to improve.

This kid is the epitome of a baller. She was solid on both sides of the ball before the injury, she is going to be even better coming back from the injury. The mental toughness and knowing she can overcome anything is a player and leader any coach would want.

After months of hard work with my PTs and coaches, I passed my return to sport test and will likely be cleared to play very soon!! All glory to God for giving me this opportunity to learn. I’m very excited to get back on the field!!
