A beautiful sunny afternoon greeted visitors to The Lizard RNLI Lifeboat Station yesterday – Sunday 28th July for our annual Lifeboat Day. We were delighted to be joined by our colleagues from Falmouth Lifeboat who were waiting to join RNLB Rose on exercise. facebook.com/photo?fbid=903…
1.8.24- We are inviting members of our community to join us in marking the RNLI’s 200th Anniversary from 6pm. At 18:24 TONIGHT, all the volunteer lifeboat crew, shore crew and volunteers from The Lizard Lifeboat will gather at the lifeboat station for a ‘One Moment, One Crew’ photo.
1.8.24, The Lizard Lifeboat participated in a special photo moment 'One Moment for One Crew' to create a record of those involved with the RNLI founded in 1824. Staff from around the UK and Ireland took a photo of themselves, their crew and/or their team at (as close to) 18:24 on 1.8.24

We recently welcomed members of the Bristol Adventure Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets to The Lizard Lifeboat for a visit. The group were given a tour of the station and RNLB Rose. Prearranged visits to the station can be organised by contacting Visits Officer Sam Hill on 07816886673

Pagers sounded at 9.44am Sun 1st Sept The Lizard Lifeboat launched to go to a position of 1 NM S Lizard Pt to assist a 52ft yacht. Upon arrival on scene the Y-boat was deployed with 2 crew who confirmed the obstruction around the prop was clear The Lizard Lifeboat ready for service by 11.20am
