Huge congratulations Jo Swinson - you will be a great leader to take our message of hope, respect and love for others across the country and build a Liberal Britain. Thanks to Vince Cable for taking us to this point; thanks to my supporters and team. Youโ€™ve all been incredible.

Vote Leave made lots of promises in 2016 including for a #Brexit deal. But now they're all saying the vote was for a No Deal. It would be a democratic outrage to force this through without everyone having a say. We must have a #PeoplesVote x.com/peoplesvote_ukโ€ฆ

Welcome on board Sarah Wollaston - our newest MP! The Lib Dems are ready to stop Brexit and build a liberal Britain. Become a member or supporter now > libdems.org.uk/join

This is a national emergency. There is no mandate for an undemocratic no deal #Brexit. Reckless Johnson + unelected Cummings want to gag our democracy. We have written to the PM to demand he recalls Parliament. RT if you believe Boris Johnson should #RecallNow

If you want to make Brexit stop there is only one way - you take it back to the people with the option to Remain. Layla Moran ๐Ÿ”ถ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ on #bbcqt Back a People's Vote now > libdems.org.uk/exit-brexit

Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar telling Boris Johnson some hard truths about Brexit, to his discomfort. If only our own government were honest enough also to communicate this clear & blunt reality to the UK public.

#Marr #BorisJohnson seems to see it all as a game that he has to win. It would be funny if it wasnโ€™t so frightening.

I was there and he was very undiplomatically heckled by a large part of the audience. I congratulated him on his speech (he smiled) as a masterpiece of hypocritical bullsh*t (he stopped smiling).

Laura - who asked the question- kindly came up to me afterwards and said I was the only person who answered her question, and she was switching to vote Liberal Democrats as a result - thanks Laura!

It has. I hope Labour is proud of putting so much effort into stopping Lib Demโ€™s winning in seats where they were third than in holding on to seats of their own or taking down some Tories.

NO. Letโ€™s spend that ยฃ120m tackling homelessness or funding food banks If this delusional, self-indulgent, nationalistic marketing campaign comes before the House, thatโ€™s the amendment Iโ€™ll table ๐Ÿ”ถWhoโ€™s with me? theguardian.com/politics/2019/โ€ฆ

Watching BBC News (UK) reporting on potential loss* of EHIC card, free mobile roaming, pet passports, recognition of driving licences etc due to #Brexit. Donโ€™t remember them bringing that home to people pre-Ref 2016 or in last 3.5 years. *Naturally it will be EUโ€™s fault of course
