A great night. Thanks to my council colleagues, Mayor @MeghanFGeorge, Chris Ronayne of course, Nickie J. Antonio & others who supported this move & made it a great night. Go Winterhurst Hockey hockey, go Lakewood Hockey & go St. Edward Ice Hockey!
Tonight City of Lakewood adopted an Americans w/ Disabilities Act Transition Plan! Thank you to the task force co-chairs Tracy Marie & Ahmie Yeung ♿ , & the Administration for their work & commitment to make sure that our city facilities & properties are accessible to all.
Only 2 & change but worth it to say we did it! City of Lakewood has the main roads pretty clear so far! Be careful out there.
My final City of Lakewood Council Mtg is tonight. So bittersweet yet proud of all we accomplished. I think Lakewood is a better place than it was 8 yrs ago thanks to MANY people & I’m honored to have been a part of it. Actual last day is 12/31, but this may be final official act.
From my final send off from City of Lakewood City Council last night. Thank you colleagues, Clerk Bach & Mayor @MeghanFGeorge for your support and kind words. 8 great years! cc Jason Shachner
Wanted to share my farewell remarks, not bc they’re particularly coherent or non-rambling, but I got to work w many people who made us greater than the sum of our parts. It was an honor to serve the people of City of Lakewood particularly those of Ward 3. youtu.be/FWNOSlPyyjs?fe…
Last day in office so I took a jog around City of Lakewood’s Ward 3. Not quite a victory lap, but I’m proud of all that we accomplished. Thank you Lakewood!
Thank you to my State Senator Nickie J. Antonio for this most kind citation! It was an honor to be your council representative for eight years and I appreciate all of your service, particularly for the marginalized, both in Lakewood and throughout our state.
