Another great find at Road To Nature today with Oliver Jenkins-Boobyer .These scarcely recorded in Wales, Forget-me-not Shieldbugs (Sehirus luctuosus) in good numbers around Forget-me-nots at several locations across the site. π

The popular annual plant sale for Gwent Wildlife Trust takes place on Saturday - May 11, 9.30-12.30 at the Palmer Centre, Chepstow. There will be an assortment of reasonably priced plants for sale cash only. If you would like to donate plants please contact Hilary on 01291 689326.
It's Hedgehog Awareness Week (May 5-11). Hedgehogs are a real favourite but sadly not doing so well, Gwent Wildlife Trust have therefore chosen them as one of the 10 Vulnerable Species we're taking action for: gwentwildlife.org/blog/andy-karrβ¦
I've found this caterpillar in a leaf roll on the nettle patch, quite a good one, with a folded end (think burrito..) but can't find a match.
