Back to better moth traps last night, with 55 of 26 species (plus 2 to id), with another 8 nfy. Garden year list now 102.
I need to sort some moth models out (such divas!), but here is a pebble prominent in the meantime.

Personal favourite was this lime hawk moth, I love a moth in camo ready for war!!😄

Pleased to report that the final song thrush chick has left the nest above our front door, made its inaugural flight & landed safely. Photo taken an hour before departure. The others fledged ok too 😊. We wish them well 🤞

I've found this caterpillar in a leaf roll on the nettle patch, quite a good one, with a folded end (think burrito..) but can't find a match.
