A beautiful agromyzid which emerged yesterday - Melanagromyza lappae. It has an iridescent metallic greenish/gold abdomen. A stem borer of Burdock. Puparia collected last November

9 glass topped, excellent condition, specimen boxes going free to anyone who wants them. Collection only I’m afraid.

Finally tracked down the Mediterranean Flour moth (Ephestia kuehniella) infestation on a packet of Italian flour in the cupboard! 11 larvae on the packet and 5 dead moths in the cupboard…
