Carl G. Lauro had a VERY special visitor this morning. Tina Cane (RI Poet Laureate) reminded us of the power of poetry, and led 4th and 5th graders through a shared writing exercise. 😍

We can't wait to welcome Tina Cane back to Carl G. Lauro next week to kick off a six-week in-school poetry workshop with 20 of our aspiring poets in 4th grade!
