What Lottie said. We don't even know the full extent of the crisis in the UK. The vast majority of the unsafe buildings we know about are still unsafe with no plan to remediate. Come on, BBC News (World) BBC News (UK). #BuildingSafetyCrisis
This is dangerous BBC News (UK). The UK’s response to remediating high rise buildings with fire safety issues has been woefully inadequate - 7 yrs post-Grenfell, there are still 20 buildings clad w/ ACM. To suggest that this is a problem solved is misinformation. #BuildingSafetyCrisis
A heartbreaking account of two lives destroyed by the #BuildingSafetyCrisis .
Our country will no doubt be poorer as Ben & his amazing partner are driven out by the policies of Rishi Sunak & Michael Gove, who favour rogue greedy corporations above aspirational hardworking people.
'The thing we have in common here...is those in power protecting themselves.'

❌ @Arconic won't attend Grenfell victims' testimony.
🗨️ Karim Mussilhy “We are not surprised that Arconic have continued to disrespect the families”
“The corporations have learned nothing. It has been business as usual for them.”

I look forward to speaking to the board & their shareholders today - I will not allow them to hide from the #BuildingSafetyCrisis that they have created.
Catastrophic building safety risks, including the chance of a collapse causing a “Grenfell-scale tragedy”, are not being properly addressed by government, a civil servant has warned in a resignation letter seen by the Guardian
